Less Details

This case study will show how organizations can merge SAM, IT procurement, and vendor management functions to create a more efficient and business-driven operating model. By shifting these responsibilities from the CIO’s office to a centralized or enterprise-wide structure, companies can enhance collaboration, streamline decision-making, and better align procurement with overall business objectives. The session will explore the key steps in this transformation, including breaking down functional silos, integrating sourcing and vendor management, and adopting agile principles to improve responsiveness and value creation. Attendees will gain insights into the challenges and best practices for enabling a unified approach that supports business growth, enhances governance, and strengthens vendor relationships. In this session, you will learn:

  • How merging SAM, IT procurement, and vendor management functions creates a more effective business support structure
  • How to strategically shift from a CIO-led function to a broader enterprise-wide approach
  • How agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration improve vendor governance, contract management, and cost efficiency
