The session will also highlight how compliance is streamlined through trigger-based automation, enabling real-time responses to license under- or over-utilization. Adil Boubou is an experienced Software Asset Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where he has been driving the optimization and automation of the bank’s software asset management processes since 2020. With a background spanning over 15 years, Adil has developed a deep expertise in software licensing, asset management, and compliance across various sectors. Prior to his role at ABN AMRO, he served as IT Asset Manager at Gemeente Utrecht, where he managed complex IT asset environments. Adil has also held consulting roles and worked in sales and account management for technology companies such as Dataplus, Infotheek, and Ingram Micro. At ABN AMRO, Adil focuses on streamlining workflows, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and implementing automation to improve efficiency and decision-making in software asset management. His broad experience allows him to provide valuable insights into building scalable and compliant SAM frameworks in complex organizations.
Christian de Groot is an experienced IT professional currently working as Product Owner of ServiceNow SAMPro at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. In this role he is responsible for delivering value for license management, life cycle management and patch management processes and he guided the transition from Snow License Manager to ServiceNow SAMPro. Prior to this role Christian was involved in the roll-out of ServiceNow GRC module to the CISO organization and increased internal work collaboration by automating the IT risk assessment process within ABN AMRO. Next to that Christian has 1,5 years experience in ABN AMRO CISO process and product development within IT risk management. 5 years experience in BI & datawarehousing and KPI reporting. 4 years experience of improving Markets systems. 3 years experience in business process improvement (lean six sigma).
