Chantal Kayonga is the CEO of the Rwanda Global Business Services (GBS) Growth Initiative, where she spearheads strategic efforts in investor promotion, talent development, and policy advocacy, all aimed at positioning Rwanda as a competitive global hub for business services. Under her leadership, the initiative has become a key driver in accelerating sector growth, strengthening the ecosystem, and attracting high-value international investment. Chantal also serves as Country Manager for Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator in Rwanda, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the country’s youth employment landscape. Her work has focused on bridging the gap between employer demand and youth talent supply—particularly in the GBS sector—by building sustainable partnerships and strengthening workforce readiness. A champion of Rwanda’s GBS vision from the outset, Chantal has been instrumental in its foundational growth. She has led the coordination of high-level investor missions, catalyzed engagement with global stakeholders, and facilitated critical linkages between government, industry, and training institutions.
